Reopening of Sabratha Museums

The Roman and Punic museums in Sabratha has been reopened on 14th March 2009 after completion of the revamping and upgrading project. The project was sponsored by Eni North Africa and Gadafi Foundation for Development and implemented by Kasaba Engineering. The opening ceremony took place on 11:00 am and was attended by The president of the Archeology Board Dr. G. Annag, the General manager of Eni N.A. Mr. Marco Polo and representatives of GFD and Kasaba Engineering. A remarkable number of concerned people and crowd attended the ceremony as well.
